Eagle Caused Problems
I am tired of reading all the press about “poor” Eagle Computer and its sensitive, dapper, 40-year-old president and co-founder demanding an apology (“Eagle Hopes to Soar Again in Computer Field,” Sept. 15).
Why doesn’t The Times write some real human interest? Why not let the public, the stockholders, the potential buyers of the products know how hurt the creditors--not the multinational ones but the small independent privately owned companies--have been burned?
They have pleaded not for an apology, but only for what is theirs and due them--to little or no avail.
Only because of Eagle’s shoot-from-the-hip, copy-cat attitude, they have provided themselves the problems they have experienced.
