A San Francisco man died Monday after falling from a cliff at the foot of Ladera Street in Ocean Beach. It has not been determined whether the fall was an accident, said Penne Hammerstead, coroner’s deputy.
A passer-by found Johnny Bozeman, 24, sitting nude at the base of a cliff near the Sunset Cliffs area about 12:30 p.m., Hammerstead said. Bozeman complained to the passer-by of abdominal pains. At the time, he was conscious and alert, she said.
Bozeman was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he died in surgery, a hospital spokeswoman said.
