Bonds and Wauls Honored by WFC

Tom Bonds was named Western Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week after completing 20 of 24 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns in Cal Lutheran’s 34-7 win over Western New Mexico. The 5-10 sophomore is ranked seventh in the NAIA in total offense (215.5 yards per game).
Cal State Northridge linebacker Reggie Wauls was named Defensive Player of the Week by the WFC for his performance in CSUN’s 25-20 loss to Cal State Hayward. Wauls, a transfer from West Los Angeles College, made 14 unassisted tackles and was in on 17 stops.
