Thirty-five celebrities in the cast! More than 65 speaking parts! Nearly a year to film!
It’s “The Immoral Minority Picture Show,” a pastiche of irreverent comedy sketches, which wrapped recently for “just over $1 million,” according to producer Jere Rae. Scott Mansfield wrote and directed. The cast includes Georg Stanford Brown, Coleen Camp, Marilyn Chambers, Sybil Danning, Meadowlark Lemon, Ed Marinaro, Diana Muldaur, P.J. Soles, Jimmy Walker, Bruce Weitz and Fred Willard. It also reunites Lenny and Squiggy (David Lander and Michael McKean).
Rae alleges that “it takes potshots at every minority group--we didn’t discriminate. I think we left out Ethiopians.”
Projected tasteful release date: Easter.
