Nominations Sought for Higgins Award

The American Institute of Steel Construction is receiving nominations for the 1986 Theodore R. Higgins Lectureship Award, which honors the author of what the institute calls the most significant engineering paper related to steel structures published between Jan. 1, 1980 and Jan. 1, 1985.
The winner will receive a $4,000 prize and will present his paper on six occasions throughout the United States during 1986. Nominations will be received until Nov. 15 and should be addressed to the institute’s Committee on Education, 400 N. Michigan, Chicago, Ill. 60611.
