California Amplifier agreed to buy Janeil.

The Camarillo-based manufacturer of components for satellite dish antenna systems said it had reached a preliminary agreement to buy Reseda-based Janeil in a stock deal valued at about $6.2 million. Janeil also makes dish antennas. California Amplifier employs 260 workers and reported sales for its last fiscal year of nearly $19 million. Janeil, with sales for its last fiscal year of $31 million, employs 30.
