CLEVELAND — Rookie quarterback Bernie Kosar will get his second National Football League start Sunday for the Cleveland Browns, this time against the Raiders.
Brown Coach Marty Schottenheimer said Friday that Kosar will get the nod over veteran passer Gary Danielson, who has a bruised shoulder.
Danielson was injured in the first half against the New England Patriots on Oct. 6. Kosar then led Cleveland to a 24-20 victory. Last week, he started as Cleveland scored a 21-6 win over the Houston Oilers.
