VIOLINISTS TO PERFORM FREE RECITAL

Violinists Igor and Vesna Groupman will offer a free recital Sunday at 8 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 27976 Marguerite Parkway in Mission Viejo.
Igor Groupman immigrated to the United States from the Soviet Union in 1979, several months before receiving a degree from the Tchaikovksy Conservatory in Moscow. He is currently concertmaster with the San Diego Chamber Orchestra.
Vesna Groupman immigrated to this country from Yugoslavia in 1980 after graduating from the Tchaikovksy Conservatory. She is an instructor in violin at California State University, Los Angeles.
