Servite High School Remains Top-Ranked in Football Poll

Servite High School, scoring an average of 31 points and allowing an average of 9 points per game, remains the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep football poll.
Servite, 7-0 this season, has a record of 38-6-1 in the past three and a half seasons. The Friars play host to St. Paul (6-1) at 7:30 Saturday night in Santa Ana Stadium in the featured game of the week.
In other noteworthy games, second-ranked Mission Viejo (7-0) is at No. 6 Capistrano Valley (6-1) on Friday night and fifth-ranked Los Alamitos (7-0) plays host to ninth-ranked Pacifica (5-2) in Gahr Stadium on Friday night. Both games begin at 7:30.
