Slaney Expecting Her First Child

EUGENE, Ore. — Olympic distance runner Mary Decker Slaney says she and her husband, Richard Slaney, are starting a family.
Slaney said she is expecting her first child late next spring, and is hoping for a second one after she competes in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.
