Two Navy men assigned to the 32nd Street Naval Station have been arrested in connection with the fire bombing Monday night of a two-story apartment building that injured the eight occupants, according to Detective John Buono of the San Diego Fire Department arson team.
Seaman Christopher Lewis Williams, 23, and William Jerome Lee, 20, whose rank was unknown, were booked on suspicion of arson with bodily injury and possession of Molotov cocktails. The occupants of the apartment in the 2600 block of C Street suffered minor to moderate burns. The residents escaped through a rear window. One victim suffered smoke inhalation.
