MEETING WILL DISCUSS ARTS, HANDICAPPED

Actress and dancer Zina Bethune will lead a workshop entitled “Don’t Just Imagine . . . D.O. (Dance Outreach)” today in the Orange County Department of Education board room, 200 Kalmus Drive, Costa Mesa.
Bethune, the founder of Los Angeles-based Bethune Ballet, will share her experiences in overcoming physical handicaps to pursue her arts career.
The 3:30 p.m. program is the second of a four-part series “Imagine--I Can Do That Through the Arts” sponsored by Very Special Arts, Orange County, and the California Alliance for Arts Education’s “Imagination Celebration” project in cooperation with the Orange County Department of Education and Chapman College.
