NEW YORK — Slain Wall Street money trader Nicholas Deak was eulogized Thursday as a business giant.
“The tragedy of his departure has not only shocked his friends, his family and the world, but placed him among the great men in history,” Georgetown University economics professor Ibrahim Oweiss said.
Oweiss addressed 450 mourners who filled the Unitarian Church of All Souls on the Upper East Side before his burial in Westchester. “In mourning Nicholas Deak, we all feel the loss of a giant. He built an empire in the world of business,” Oweiss said.
