Rear-Window Signs That Say, ‘Baby on Board’
- Share via
There have been a number of letters concerning the pros and cons of “Baby on Board” signs in cars. We, too, have received numerous comments and inquiries. There are two key issues about the signs.
First, in California, signs in rear car windows are legal only in a 7-inch squares on the lower right. (VC 26708 b(3))
Second, the sign itself will not protect any child. It is critical that all occupants use safety belts and/or safety seats for protection in motor vehicles.
