Research & Development Centers : Camarillo Tech Park Increment Scheduled

Year-end completion is expected for the first phase of the $60-million, 35-acre Lincoln Technology Park at the northeast corner of Mission Oaks Boulevard and Flynn Road in Camarillo.
The first phase consists of three buildings, totaling 229,300 square feet, valued at about $18 million, according to the developer, Lincoln Property Co., Dallas. The contractor is TOLD Construction Co., Camarillo, and the architect is Barasch & Associates, Pasadena.
Valley Project Opens
The $20-million, 11.5-acre master-planned Chatsworth Tech Center, reportedly the first development of its type to be built in the west San Fernando Valley on fee property, has opened at the northwest corner of Plummer Street and Canoga Avenue in Chatsworth. Developed by Terra Development Corp., Santa Monica, the first phase of the project consists of two buildings designed by Hill Pinckert Architects, Thousand Oaks, and built by Oltmans Construction Co., Whittier and Westlake Village.
Completion Nears
Late fall completion has been scheduled on the 60,000-square-foot second phase of the eventual 40-acre, $20-million Carroll Canyon Center research and development park near Interstate 15 and Miramar Road in San Diego. The project is a development of CalMat Properties Co. The architect is HCH & Associates and Nielsen Construction Co.
Tech Unit Completed
The $10-million, two-building first phase of North County Tech Center has been completed by Pacesetter Business Properties in the 200-acre Savi Ranch Business Park in Yorba Linda. The $20-million, 13.9-acre project will ultimately have 243,000 square feet of space in four buildings. The architect is Howard F. Thompson & Associates.
Golf Firm Signs Lease
Taylor Made Golf Co. has signed a five-year, $1.25-million lease for a 30,700-square-foot research and development building in the first phase of the $5.2-million Palomar Tech Centre II in Carlsbad. Coldwell Banker represented Taylor Made and Grubb & Ellis represented the owner, Palomar Investment Associates.
December Finish Slated
Mid-December completion is scheduled for a $2,175,000, two-story, 40,200-square-foot building in the Koll Co.’s 560-acre Carlsbad Research Center near the Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. Koll Construction Co. is the contractor and Deems/Lewis & Partners is the architect.
