Regan Remarks About Women

Regan’s hoof-and-mouth disease clearly manifested discernable sexism in his absurd, misguided statement suggesting that women lack interest in and understanding of substantive summitry and arms-race issues. Whether blatant or latent, this discriminatory thinking in high government circles is outrageous and counterproductive to qualitative leadership in the nation and in the world.
It is frightening to know that such out-of-touch thinking has influence in the White House. Perhaps it is high time for good ol’ boy Donald Regan to be put out to pasture for some sorely needed R&R; and time to re-orient himself to the real world.
