In your article (Nov. 17), “Pereira Gave County Shape--and a Vision,” you listed the Library/Multimedia Center at Golden West College as one of noted architect William L. Pereira’s major Orange County works.
Pereira did more than that. In 1961, the Coast Community College District trustees hired him to develop a master plan for the entire campus, which at that time was a newly purchased 122-acre cauliflower farm.
Today, Golden West College is a distinctive campus with its innovative architecture and beautiful landscaping.
