Panther Women Defeat Alaska Fairbanks

The Chapman College women’s basketball team defeated Alaska Fairbanks Monday night, 78-39, in a nonconference game at Fairbanks.

Leone Patterson led the Panthers with 20 points and 12 rebounds and Susan Bergendahl came off the bench to add 18 points, all coming in the first half. Freshman forward Annette Jones had 15 rebounds for the Panthers. The teams meet again in Fairbanks tonight. The Panthers return home Wednesday.
