Male Babysitter Gets Life for Scalding Boy to Death

DALLAS — A male babysitter who masqueraded as a woman to obtain employment was sentenced Thursday to life in prison for intentionally injuring a 5-month-old boy who died after being immersed in scalding water. Richard Arthur Gilbert, 29, also was fined $10,000.
