Surgery has been performed to correct a pinched nerve in the right shoulder of Atlanta Braves reliever Bruce Sutter. He will wear a sling for about three weeks and then will begin a rehabilitation process, team officials said in a statement, adding that they expect him to be able to pitch sometime during spring training.
