Washington Bullets center Jeff Ruland broke his ankle in the final minutes of a game against Detroit Wednesday night and will be sidelined for six weeks.
Through the first 22 games of the season, Ruland was averaging 21.2 points, 12.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists. He averaged 25.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists in four games last week.
