HIGHLIGHTS: A 14-foot jump shot by Rod Moten gave San Gorgonio a win and the consolation title. . . . Canyon led at the half, 38-34, but when Cowboy forward Butch Mettinger was benched with four fouls in the third quarter, San Gorgonio took the lead. . . . Canyon made 10 of 17 shots, while San Gorgonio made eight of 13. . . . Canyon’s record fell to 3-2 and San Gorgonio is 6-1.
