SAN DIEGO — Former San Diego Mayor Roger Hedgecock, free on appeal of his conspiracy and perjury convictions, will become a radio talk show host next month, the radio station that hired him announced today.
Hedgecock, who resigned last week as mayor of the nation’s eighth-largest city, has a personal services contract with KSDO Radio to fill its 12:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. talk show slot. Hedgecock, 39, was sentenced to spend a year in county custody after his convictions stemming from irregularities in his 1983 campaign.
