A former Pomona College assistant treasurer has been placed on five years’ probation for embezzling $46,000 from the college during a two-year period. Richard Hasse, 31, of Claremont, who had pleaded guilty to the charges and repaid the college the funds, was also ordered to pay back to the college an additional $19,000 for accounting and attorney fees by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael A. Tynan.
