ROBERTA SHERWOOD TO RECEIVE AWARD

Singer Roberta Sherwood, known for her recordings of “Up a Lazy River” and “You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You,” among others, will receive the Film Welfare League’s Lifetime Achievement Award at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 27 at the Le Bel Age Hotel, 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd., West Hollywood.
Former MGM musical star Virginia O’Brien will make the presentation.
