Terminal Data Posts Loss of $2.6 Million for Year

Terminal Data, hit hard by declining sales, said it lost $1.2 million, or 27 cents a share, in the fourth quarter ended Sept. 30 and $2.6 million, or 59 cents a share, in the fiscal year.
The Woodland Hills-based company said its sales in the quarter fell 40% to $7.3 million. Sales for the year dropped 24% to $34.8 million.
The company makes systems used to convert documents to images that can be stored on microfilm, magnetic disks or optical disks.
