The agreement, which calls for Triconex to join in development and marketing of factory automation equipment, could lead to a substantial investment by Honeywell in the young Orange County firm, company officials said. Initially, Triconex will manufacture products for Honeywell to sell under its own name and the two companies will share factory automation technology.
