Cal Lutheran Loses at Cal Poly SLO, 75-62

The Cal Lutheran University basketball team Saturday dropped its second game on the road in as many nights as Cal Poly San Luis Obispo defeated the Kingsmen, 75-62.
Cal Poly (10-3) took an 18-point halftime lead behind the scoring of forward Sean Chambers and reserve guard Mark Otta. Chambers scored 12 of his game-high 18 points in the first half. Otta had 14 points in the game.
Guard James Wells and forward Melvin Parker had 10 points each for Cal Poly.
Guard Darren Ranck led Cal Lutheran with 12 points and forward Pat Gibbs had 11. Gibbs also had seven rebounds.
The Kingsmen, who lost to Cal State Bakersfield on Friday, are 2-10.
