Black Dog, missing in the Los Angeles area since June 25, is still among the lost despite two aerial searches conducted by his master over the weekend. But Rodger Taylor, the Cupertino man who has devoted thousands of hours and dollars to his search, said his two helicopter sweeps were not in vain because news coverage of his quest generated reports of 50 new possible sightings of the 12-year-old mixed breed Labrador.
