Tim Surridge scored 18 points and Derwin Appleberry added 16 to lead Christ College Irvine to a 96-75 Western Christian Athletic Conference win over Life College.
Christ College (1-0, 10-4) led for the entire game, and had a comfortable 48-31 lead at halftime.
Life College (0-1) was led by Mike Updike’s 29 points. Sam Updike added 17.
