Crosses and Flags Needed: With more than 2,000 veterans buried at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, each year more white wooden crosses and American flags are needed for the annual Memorial Day program. The American Veterans Memorial Assn., which sponsors the event, is on the lookout for organizations and individuals wishing to support or participate in this year’s program. Memberships for any patriotic, veteran, community or civic group are $25 a year and $5 for individuals. The dues are used to buy additional crosses and flags that are placed on the graves on Memorial Day. The 48th annual program this year will be held May 26 at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.
