Where’s the Ashtray?

I have only one question concerning the photo of Jack Lemmon and his son, Chris, fishing in an Alaskan stream ( Personal Pleasures, Jan. 5 ). Both are smoking; where did they discard the butts? Cigarette filters are not biodegradable. Let us serve as an example and take care of the land for future generations.
