The body of an unidentified man who was shot in the head was found Saturday morning at a mini-storage yard in San Marcos, the San Diego County coroner’s office reported. The body, believed to be that of a white man in his mid-20s, was found about 9:50 a.m. in an open storage bin at Mission Mini Storage, 1510 E. Mission Road, by a man who rents a storage locker there. A coroner’s spokesman said it was unknown how long the man had been dead. The victim was about 6 feet tall and weighed 160 pounds, with red hair and mustache, and his upper left chest was tattooed with a bulldog, under which are the words “U.S. Marine.” The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
