Chad Therapeutics Posts Loss on Higher Sales

Chad Therapeutics said it lost $249,247, or 18 cents a share, in the third quarter ended Dec. 31. It lost $270,353, or 19 cents a share, in the same quarter the year before.
The Chatsworth-based company, which makes devices that help conserve oxygen in home oxygen units, said its sales were $38,158 in the quarter, up slightly from $31,885 a year earlier.
For the first nine months of its fiscal year, the company lost $767,165, or 54 cents a share on sales of $126,318. During the corresponding period in 1984, it lost $1 million, or 72 cents a share, on sales of $102,997.
