Reagan’s Goals for United States

The Reaganites in their quest for defense from external enemies, are devoting more of the internal resources toward the military segment and away from the consumers. This same phobia has already been tried in another country over 50 years ago and allowed to continue. That country continues to have shortages of housing and goods for its populace. That country is the Soviet Union.
Why do we defend ourselves from the Soviet influence from abroad when we unwittingly are following the same direction internally?
