UCSD Sweeps West Coast Christian

The UC San Diego baseball team had 28 hits in sweeping West Coast Christian in a nonconference doubleheader at San Diego, 9-1 and 16-3, Monday.
Bob Natal had four RBIs and a home run and Derek Alkonis added a solo home run to lead the Tritons in the first game.
In the nightcap, David Stanovich had four hits and Mitch Tucker hit a solo home run for the Tritons.
UCSD (4-3-1) meets San Diego State at 5 p.m. today.
