SDSU Softball Team Splits With Chapman College

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego State softball team split a nonconference doubleheader with Chapman College, winning the first game, 3-1, and losing the second, 1-0, Saturday at SDSU.
In the opener, Laura Nornberg doubled home Stacy Sullivan with the go-ahead run in the second inning. Pitcher Lisa Michie (1-1) went the distance for the Aztecs.
In the second game, Chapman’s Casey Tacason threw a shutout and drove in the game’s only run with a sixth-inning single.
