Tenant Commissioners Sought: The Orange County Housing Authority is seeking candidates to serve as tenant commissioners on the Housing Commission. The commission, which has seven members, oversees the Housing Assistance Payments Program and serves as an advisory body to the authority on housing policy matters. Candidates must be tenants participating in the authority’s Section 8 Housing Program. One commissioner will represent family tenants. Another, who must be over 62 years of age, will represent elderly tenants. Each commissioner will serve a term of two years. The commission meets once a month.
