When young vaudevillian Ken Murray entered the movies in the late ‘20s, he started taking home movies of his movie-star pals--and is still at it, accumulating a rich variety of archival footage. The result is this irresistible potpourri, highlighted by tributes to Harold Lloyd, John Wayne and Bing Crosby. He also filmed Amelia Earhart’s visit to Pickfair, the “Hell’s Angels” premiere and Candice Bergen when she was a baby. Murray’s narration is warm and justifiably sentimental.
