Regarding S.E. Zygmont’s letter questioning my ability to have the “time or energy for looking chic . . .” or “. . . to seek out an escort” for the Oscar ceremonies.

The facts are, my escort, Dean Witter, called to seek me out. Also the dictionary defines chic as fashion know-how, smart, sophisticated. Webster’s defines sophisticated as changed from the natural character or original simplicity by experience and education.

I am indeed experienced, a self promoter. The definition of chic described my outfit perfectly: a see-thru of over 1,000 white pearls.
