High U.S. Aide in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — The U.S. under secretary of state for political affairs, Michael H. Armacost, met with Pakistani President Zia ul-Haq on Sunday night, a government spokesman reported. Armacost also met with Prime Minister Mohammed Khan Junejo.
