Grossmont League Rivals Top Poll

SAN DIEGO — Grossmont League teams occupy the top two spots in this week’s Times Top 10.

Santana (11-1) is ranked No. 1 and Valhalla (11-3) No. 2. The two teams meet today at Valhalla at 3:15 p.m.

Santana (3-0 in league) had a no-hitter from left-hander Billy Reed last Friday against El Capitan. Valhalla also is 3-0 after a pair of victories last week.

The Palomar League has three teams in the top 10: Fallbrook (No. 3), Mt. Carmel (No. 4), and Vista (No. 10).
