A federal judge ruled that the State Department must turn over to the Washington Post the daily summary of office activities of Alexander M. Haig Jr. when he was secretary of state. The Post, in a Freedom of Information Act request, asked the State Department for all meeting logs, telephone call logs, daily schedules, trip itineraries, personal calendars and diaries from Jan. 1, 1981, until he resigned as secretary in June, 1982.
