Tass Confirms Soviet Ship Is in Libya Port

MOSCOW — The official news agency Tass confirmed Friday that a Soviet warship is visiting the Libyan capital of Tripoli.
In a brief dispatch from Tripoli, Tass said a missile-carrying cruiser “has arrived on a business visit from the country of friends.”
Tass gave no details on the ship’s mission.
