Burbank police arrested four Mexican nationals at a Lawndale house on suspicion of possessing cocaine and other drugs valued at $300,000, police reported Sunday.
The Saturday afternoon raid netted three pounds of cocaine, two ounces of Mexican tar heroin and a half pound of marijuana, Lt. Larry Koch said.
Lt. Art Moody said those arrested are associated with 14 others arrested April 17 when 70 law enforcement officers, led by Burbank police, broke up a purported drug ring operating in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Police in those raids confiscated 40 pounds of cocaine worth an estimated $3.5 million.
Arrested Saturday were Daniel B. Castillo, 26; Guillermo B. Felix, 36; Guillermo Sanchez, 26, and Josefina Beltran, 32. They were being held Sunday in Burbank Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
