College Softball : Chapman Beats Portland State, 2-1

Lori Tschetter’s bases-loaded single in the bottom of the eighth inning gave Chapman College a 2-1 win over Portland State in the third-place game of the North-South softball tournament in Sacramento Saturday.
Tschetter’s hit drove in Alison Jackson with the winning run. Panther pitcher Casey Tacason was selected the game’s outstanding player.
