Airline Seat Wars
The article on airline seat wars by Peter S. Greenberg April 6 was interesting but not quite complete. No mention was made of Air France’s new sleeper seat which was installed on all our long-haul 747s during 1985. The seat back electrically reclines to a 62-degree angle and a second control electronically activates the leg rest cushion. There is also a footrest that can be manually adjusted to provide even greater comfort.
