Harbor Gateway : Cleanup Volunteers Sought

Residents and business people are being asked to collect litter in Harbor Gateway on Saturday in the community’s annual cleanup campaign.
Volunteer headquarters are located at Gardena Boulevard and Ainsworth Street, Hoover and 135th streets and Normandale Recreation Center, 22400 S. Halldale Ave.
Five special rubbish disposal sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the volunteer headquarters, Rosecrans Recreation Center, 840 W. 149th St.; and Halldale Elementary School, 21514 Halldale Ave.
The cleanup is sponsored by several Harbor Gateway neighborhood watch groups, the Normandale Advisory Council and the office of Los Angeles Councilwoman Joan Milke Flores.
