Lucky Stores Names Lillie as Chairman

Lucky Stores Inc., Dublin, named President John M. Lillie chairman of the supermarket company. He will continue as chief executive. Succeeding him as president is Lawrence A. Del Santo.
Lillie replaces S. Donley Ritchey, who resigned but will remain a director. Lillie was named chief executive in June, 1985, when Ritchey said he planned to take a “less active role” in the company. Lillie had been president since 1981. Del Santo will continue to have responsibility for Gemco and specialty operations. He joined the company in December, 1983, and was elected executive vice president in June, 1985.
