Workers Pluck Derailed Freight Cars From Creek

SAN ANTONIO — Workers on Wednesday carefully pulled chemical-laden freight cars from a creek bank where they derailed Sunday, trying to avoid any sparks or leaks that would cause an explosion. A chemical blaze that had been burning in one car since the derailment of 22 cars of a Missouri Pacific train choked itself out.
